AOL Customer Service

Well, if you have ever had an AOL account, you have surely had the displeasure of dealing with the AOL "customer service" people. I am not sure if they are customer service people or sales people, as they seem to know little about how to help you but know how to sign you up for an add-on service or downgrade your service when you want to cancel. We decided it would be a great idea to let you tell other people about your experiences with AOL's customer service department in our new AOL customer service forums. Let Me Cancel AOL!

I can't tell you how much we hear that every day. People email us just about every day asking US why AOL makes it so difficult for people to cancel their account. Hmmm, well I can think of one reason, but beyond that you are on your own. I think that AOL is going to be in big trouble in the near future as dial up access becomes a thing of the past and more savvy internet/computer users make up a larger proportion of society. It is a matter of time. I guess AOL has figured this out as well and is fighting to keep every last penny they can, even if it means making you as mad as heck.
