why does my webcam not work with YAHOO?

I am unable to use my 'Logitech' webcam with YAHOO - works perfectly with MSN, an I can receive other callers video through YAHOO but no can transmit. Each time I try my computer freezes - using XP (plus ver 2) 500+ Ram - not a memory problem!
