Default cloned id with my fone number on :(

I've been getting alot of nuisance calls and eventually found out someone has made a clone profile of me and put my number on there.
I emailed yahoo but not heard from them (did'nt expect i would)!

Can anyone tell me how i can get it removed?

You mean someone created a separate Yahoo ID and put your phone number on it? I would try and call Yahoo customer service (see post in this forum) and tell them it is your phone number and you want it removed. Tell them to call you on it if they have a problem.

What I've heard you're supposed to do with this is send a letter to Y! itself (To get the address, go to www.yahoo.com, click on "Company info" at the bottom of the page, then on "addresses") and address it "ATTN: Custodian of Records." In the letter, explain the issue, include a photocopy of your drivers license and a real, penned in, signature.

Yahoo doesn't make a lot of things easy for anyone
I'll see if I can get a list of public numbers for their various departments and stuff on here sometime.
